Experience also known as The Prodigy Experience is the debut studio album by English electronic music group the Prodigy. Apart from Liam Howlett - who was the sole composer - of the additional three members at that time, only Maxim Reality actually contributed to the album, performing the vocals on the last track.
A wide variety of artists in the breakbeat hardcore scene in the early s are given respect and namechecked in the sleeve notes of the album, including SL2 , Carl Cox , Moby , Tim Westwood , Orbital and Aphex Twin. It also went gold in Poland. Experience received very positive reviews upon its release.
AllMusic gave the album 5 out of 5 stars, saying that it "shows the Prodigy near the peak of their game from the get go" and stating that "almost every song sounds like a potential chart topper". Moby credited Experience with changing his perception about dance albums; previously he felt that "dance albums had always failed [ Mostly they were singles collections which was exactly what I didn't want to do," and noted that Experience "impressed me because they'd managed to create a full listening experience which encompassed various styles.

Sample : "Hold it! Sample : "Let the bass go! Sample: "Little bit of bass, little bit of raas. This song represents pretty well what the Prodigy is all about. Violent techno at times, with beautiful melodies and danceable sound. The only negative thing might be length of the song which seemed a bit too long for the song itself.
Well, the track snaps directly Your Love. The speed of the album keeps on getting faster and this track adds a lot it. We are now in complete raving and wild dancing mode so to speak. The song has a very cool keyboard melodie that seems a lot more different than the previous sounds. They connect very well every sound bit and part of the song into one big piece for the main part and the end.
That's pretty much what you should accomplish as an electronic artist. The next track entitled Hyperspeed is one of my absolute favorites till today. A track that has such a violent and angry rage to it that you will forget everything that happens around you. The track opens up rather calm but quickly finds its drive. Let's jet out, we'll cruise at hyperspeed, I got the beat, I got the beat and that's all we need Check it out!
That's one of the catchiest refrains I have ever heard. Simple yet effective. It gets you immediatly when it kicks in. Those lines have such a cool feeling to it that you just can't help but dig it. After that we enter a fast and angry mood with the female vocalist yelling out "Keep Up-! Overall it's just an amazing track and one of the best techno songs I've ever heard. The most complete info about Prodigy's The Prodigy Experience releases! Information. History; Gig Guide; Members.
